Organizational Assessment

One of the first steps of organizational improvement is to understand the current state, and I provide the service of assessing organizations to fulfill that need. Some of the assessment approaches include:

  • conduct anonymous surveys
  • initiate 1-on-1 conversations
  • observe meetings and events
  • analyze existing metrics and measurement methods, etc.
  • utilize existing models such as Kanban Maturity Model, AgendaShift assessment, Spotfiy squad health check, etc.

Along with the qualitative and quantitative data, I also provide cause-and-effect analysis on the gathered information, followed by a proposal with a list of pragmatic options for organizational improvement.

This is just the beginning of your organizational evolutionary journey. I encourage you to continue the momentum by evaluating and implementing some proposed steps either with myself or with your internal coaches. I also encourage establishing an assessment cadence (e.g. annually) to keep tabs on the effect of any organizational improvement initiatives.
